For too long we've seen our neighborhoods, parks, roads and commercial zones neglected while developers receive tax breaks for projects that erase our history and push out small businesses and long-time residents. We’ve seen crime and homelessness rise with the same top-down, ineffective and inhumane solutions that waste resources. And too often, we’ve seen plans and policies that were made with limited notice—without real community input.​

That's why I’m running for City Council.

How long shall we stand aside and look? We need bold, community-centered leadership that demands transparency and moves resources where they are needed most. I kept my word when I promised to do that on the TUSD Governing Board and I look forward to doing the same for the City of Tucson.​
